5.Measure the crystal's specific gravity -- its weight compared with its volume. It is a good way to identify minerals. The specific gravity of wolframite is 7.40 grams per cubic centimeter. The specific gravity of scheelite is 6.01 grams per cubic centimeter. If you do not obtain access to such equipment, heft the sample in your palm. Both minerals should feel quite heavy for their sizes.

6.Place a magnet on a mineral thought to be wolframite. Wolframite includes iron, making it slightly metallic.

7.Shine a UV light on a mineral considered to be scheelite. Scheelite fluoresces bright white-blue under a UV light if it is very pure, and creamy yellow if it contains molybdenum.

8.Examine the other minerals that may have formed on your specimen. Wolframite often develops with topaz and quartz. Scheelite often develops with tremolite, tourmaline, topaz, vesuvianite, cassiterite, fluorite, diopside and apatite. What’s more, wolframite and scheelite are usually found together. 

Tungsten ore can be divided into tungsten concentrate and tungsten scheelite.
Processes to identify tungsten ore are examining the mineral, rubbing the mineral against a streak plate, dripping a small amount of diluted hydrochloric acid.

Tungsten is an element. It is a soft light grey or whitish metal. It has a quantity of practical uses, both in its pure form and as an alloy. However, how to identify them? Here are some instructions for you.

1. Examine the mineral. Wolframite ranges from black or greyish black to brown, is opaque and is slightly metallic. If you get what's called a drop shot sinker, like this one here, it has a little metal clamp thing at the top that will let you wedge your line onto it so you don't have to tie it. It saves a lot of time and hassle. Your leader should be about 15 inches long.

So now that we have the drop shot rigging, let's go ahead and put the plastic bait onto the hook. Take the worm or other drop shot bait and insert the hook point into the bottom of the bait right behind the nose of the bait. Come up through the bait about halfway and then start threading the hook out through the nose of the plastic bait until the barb just barely comes through the nose of the bait. And that's it! That's how you tie a drop shot rig. You'll notice that the worm will come off the main line perpendicular, just like this. That's it, simple stuff.

When the workpiece materials are relatively soft, larger rake angle should be adopted; when the materials are relatively hard, smaller rake angle should be adopted; when turning plastic materials, larger rake angle should be adopted; when turning hard brittle materials, smaller rake angle should be adopted.
II.    Choosing rake angle according to the precision requirements of workpieces being processed. When using tungsten carbide turning tool with indexable inserts, operators should pay great attention to problems as follows:

I.    Blade loosening
If blade loosening happens due to the vibration in the turning of tungsten carbide indexable inserts, operators should check whether the blade is clamped tightly or the clamping component is out of shape.

II.    Abnormal noise
If there is squeak during the cutting, the reasons may be that the cutting tool is not clamped tightly; the cutting tool has seriously worn; the toolbar sticks out too far or lacks toughness; the workpiece for fixture lack toughness, and so on.

III.    Spark in tool nose
If there is spark in the tool nose, the reasons may be that the cutting tool has seriously worn out; there is gap or blade tipping in the tool nose or cutting edge; the cutting speed is too high, and so on. Therefore, the cutting edge or blade then should be replaced and the cutting speed also should be adjusted.

IV.    Blade surface stripping
If blade surface stripping happens during cutting, the amount of cutting fluid should be increased for those blade materials using cooling fluid, while for those high-hardness blade materials unsuitable to use cutting fluid, dry cutting should be adopted.
