Preparation of Defective Yellow Tungsten Oxide Nanoparticles

Step 1: Add 1 mmol of sodium tungstate dihydrate, 1.5 mmol of citric acid and 5 mmol of glucose gradually to 30 mL of deionized water, place in a beaker with a capacity of 100 mL, and stir magnetically for 10 min to obtain a colorless transparent solution;

Step 2: Adjust the pH value of the solution by adding hydrochloric acid drop by drop, and continue to stir magnetically for 30 min to obtain a pale yellow solution;

Step 3: Place the solution in a 50mL polytetrafluoroethylene lining, put it into a stainless steel reactor and perform hydrothermal reaction at 120°C for 24h, and naturally cool to room temperature;

Step 4: Centrifugally wash the product obtained in Step 3 with deionized water and absolute ethanol, drying to prepare a hydrated tungsten oxide precursor with oxygen defects;

Step 5: Take 50mg of the above-obtained hydrated tungsten oxide precursor in a magnetic boat and put it into a tube furnace, heat to 300 °C in an air atmosphere, calcinate for 0.5h, and cool to room temperature to obtain defective yellow tungsten oxide nanoparticles.
