Molybdenum market quotation in China: the ammonium molybdate, ammonium heptamolvbdate and molybdenum powder prices remain weak adjustment under heavy wait-and-see atmosphere in the market. At present, most insiders are waiting for new round of steel tenders.

Firstly, steel companies basically maintain just-need purchases and reasonably control the growth rate of inventory. Therefore, the time for centralized bidding is slightly delayed, resulting in a negative attitude of traders and a higher willingness to sell products. However, in order to avoid the risk of price inversion, the room for price reduction is limited; secondly, a large number of low-priced molybdenum products from the international market are flowing into the country, which is still an important factor that is difficult to restore market confidence. In the short term, the problem of oversupply of molybdenum raw materials is difficult to be solved; thirdly, the global economic environment is relatively sluggish, which also leads to the low consumption of downstream. The whole market is quiet.
