Tungsten Concentrate Beneficiation – Wet High Intensity Permanent Separator

Tungsten concentrate is mild magnetic mineral, under certain grinding, it can adjust magnetic intensity or change selection medium to absorb tungsten concentrate on the magnetic medium to realize separation with mineral vein. 

So no matter it is tungsten concentrate selection or tungsten slime recovery, magnetic machine can be used to purify to concentrate tungsten concentrate grain, simplify the subsequent processes and save tungsten concentrate beneficiation cost.

Intensity separator can be divided into dry high intensity magnetic separator and wet high intensity magnetic separator, there differences are requirement for mineral, one should be dry and the other should be wet. In China, many mines use both these two types. Unless it is dry and scarcity for water, wet high intensity magnetic separator is more widely used.

Wet high intensity magnetic separator can be used to recycle tungsten minerals grain with size 0.01mm~3mm. Compared to dry magnetic separator, it is used to recycle fine grains, so it is usually sued in the process of tungsten tailings elimination or tungsten slime rougher selection. The most widely used and representative wet high intensity magnetic separator is SLon vertical ring pulsating high gradient magnetic separator.

SLon vertical ring pulsating high gradient magnetic separator has advantages of high intensity, medium is uneasy to be blocked, large dealing amount and stable working situation. It can absorb fine grain size tungsten concentrate mineral effectively, is efficient to optimize selection process and recycle tungsten slime. It is welcomed in processing tungsten mine of low grade and fine grain size. So it becomes main magnetic equipment in most tungsten mines.
