Electrochromic Glass Coated Tungsten Nickel Alloy Target

The chromism and coating quality of tungsten nickel alloy target produced by the existing technology are still not stable enough, resulting in low yield and high cost of electrochromic glass, more wastes such as waste acid and other pollutants are produced.

In order to improve this situation, the researchers have proposed a method for the preparation of tungsten nickel alloy targets for electrochromic glass coating. The electrochromic principle is that the W+5 has the effect of changing electrons into W+4 and losing electrons to W+6 and thus playing the role of discoloration. The specific technical scheme is as follows:

(1) The tungsten powder with the purity of more than 99.999% and the average Fisher particle size of 1μm to 20 μm, with the purity of more than 99.95% and the average Fisher particle size of 1μm to 20μm, and the purity of more than 99.95% and the average Fisher particle size of 1μm~ 20μm of tungsten trioxide powder.

(2) The components were mixed into V shape mixer and mixed at 15 ~22r/min speed to get mixed powder.

(3) The mixed powder is placed in a vacuum hot pressing sintering mold and then loaded in the vacuum hot pressing sintering furnace at 4~9°C /min rate to 1400~1500°C, pressure to 28 ~ 37MPa, heat insulation for 100 ~ 150min for vacuum hot pressing and vacuum hot pressing, after the vacuum hot pressing is completed, the density of the heating power supply with the furnace cooling is more than 99%. Tungsten nickel alloy target with theoretical density and purity greater than 99.99%.

The tungsten nickel alloy targets prepared by this method have high density and high purity, which can be used to prepare electrochromic films of electrochromic glass to make the color change more stable, better coating quality and improve the good quality of electrochromic glass. At the same time, no binder is needed in the preparation process, and no waste is produced.
