Tungsten Slender Mud Recycling Strategy

In the process of beneficiation, the tungsten mine has a large amount of fine slime, which generally accounts for about 8%-10% of the ore. The recycled rate of the conventional tungsten slender mud process is generally low, about 20 - 30%. Therefore, the comprehensive recycle process and application of tungsten slender mud can be used to improve the comprehensive recycled rate of tungsten slender mud, reduce the waste of resources and reduce the cost of mineral processing. It is of great importance to increase the economic efficiency of enterprises.

The recycled strategy of tungsten fine mud in a large mine includes the following steps:

(1) The representative test material 400-600kg is used in the tungsten mine. The chemical analysis method, ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope are used to analyze the main chemical composition of the test material, the phase of tungsten and the relationship between the content of the grain grade, the mineral composition and the mineral distribution between the tungsten and the mineral.

(2) The separation of coarse mud from fine mud by cyclone is carried out, and some of the sludge which is difficult to recycle is removed. The separation time is 10-20min.

(3) The pretreated test materials and water are put into the high speed mixer, the pH regulator and the mineral dispersing agent are added at the same time. After mixing 30-60min, the mineral is in the dispersion state, then the selective flocculant is added, the selective flocculant is calcium carbonate, and the adverse effect of calcium ion and magnesium ion on the flotation can be eliminated.

(4) After mixing the flotation tailings and reducing agents and roasting, the roasting time is 15-25min, the calcination temperature is 600-800, and the amount of coke and coke can improve the grade and recovery of the next magnetic concentrate, thus the flotation concentrate and the flotation tailings are obtained.

(5) The products after reduction roasting are finely grained through rod mill.

(6) The fine particles are placed in the magnetic separator for magnetic separation. The pulsating punching of the magnetic separator and the magnetic separator are 250-350 times /min, the stroke is 10-14cm, and the magnetic field strength is 06-1.0T.

(7) The magnetic separation tailings are added to the centrifugal concentrator for gravity separation, and the tungsten gravity separation concentrate and tungsten gravity separation tailings are obtained. The centrifugal concentrator's water pressure is 0.05-0.15MPa.

(8) The coarse separation of tungsten concentrate and tungsten coarse selection tailings are obtained by adding 600-1200g/t sodium carbonate, 1000-2000g/t water glass, lead nitrate of 300-900g/t, GYR of 120-240-/t and GYB of 150-250g/t in tungsten heavy dressing tailings.

(9) 30-50g/tGYR and 70-90g/tGYB were selected from tungsten tailings tailings to obtain tungsten concentrate and tungsten concentrate tailings.

The recycled method has the advantages of high comprehensive recycled rate of tungsten fine mud. The recycled rate of WO3 in tungsten fine mud is 55%.
