Development of Cesium Tungsten Bronze in Near Infrared Shielding

Cesium tungsten bronze (CsxWO3) is a class of non-stoichiometric oxygen octahedron-specific functional compounds. Because of the structural characteristics of cesium tungsten bronze, it has low resistivity and low temperature superconductivity.

In the modern production process, the method of cesium tungsten bronze preparation is mainly by citric acid hydrothermal synthesis method, as well as pure sodium tungstate as raw material for ion exchange to obtain it.

With the continuous improvement of technology, Cesium-tungsten bronze film has been found to have better near-infrared shielding performance than blank glass in recent years. Compared with the blank glass, the surface is coated with cesium tungsten bronze film glass that can mask the wavelength of near-infrared light greater than 1100nm, which results in insulation on both sides of the film temperature difference up to 13.5 ℃. So, it has a very good near-infrared shielding function, which is widely used and expected as a new type of material window in the field of construction and automotive glass insulation.
