Tungsten carbide nozzle is made from hard compound of refractory metal and binding metal through powder metallurgy, and its structure is hot-pressed by hot straight hole or restricted hole. 
Tungsten carbide nozzle’s excellent performances of high hardness, intensity, abrasion and corrosion resistance as well as good toughness, especially its high hardness and abrasion resistance enable it to withstand high temperature up to 500℃. Its bending resistance reaches about 2300N / mm, while hardness about HRA90. Even under the temperature of 1000℃, it can still remain high hardness.
Because tungsten carbide nozzle has many excellent properties, it is widely used in industries like sandblasting, painting, cleaning, electronics,and so on.

Tungsten carbide cutting tool regrinding is commonly seen currently. The price for tool regrinding is much less than that of a completely new tool, and it can effectively extend the tool service life. Regrinding is usually conducted in some special or expensive cutting tools. Tools that can be reground include drills, milling cutters, hobs, and so on. 
 
In the drill or milling cutter regrinding process, cutting edge should be ground in order to remove the original coating, and therefore grinding wheel used must be hard enough. Advantages of Tungsten Carbide Threaded Milling Cutter

Currently, tungsten carbide is the major material for producing threaded milling cutters. High-speed steel screw tap’s processing line speed is only about 10 ~ 30m / min, while that of tungsten carbide threaded milling cutter reaches 80 ~ 200m / min. Therefore, the latter is obviously more suitable for high-speed cutting, and the surface roughness of threads processed by it is also greatly improved. 
 
High-speed steel screws used for machining of high hardness materials and high temperature alloys, such as titanium and nickel-based alloys always have short service life. However, this problem can be well solved by adopting tungsten carbide threaded milling cutter as machining tools, because it possesses hardness up to HRC58 ~ 62. What is more, more than one screw taps will be needed to process threads with the same thread pitch but different diameters, but if it is processed by tungsten carbide threaded milling cutters, only one will be enough.When thread tap wears, it cannot be used again, but this will not happen to tungsten carbide treaded milling cutter because its cutter radius compensation adjustment can be done through numerical control system, which enables the cutter to work normally as before.
