Tungsten Oxide Nanoparticles Applied for Nano-ceramic Color Master

Tungsten oxide nanoparticles may be used to prepare a nano-ceramic color master, which is a heat insulating masterbatch for applying to prepare transparent heat-insulating film, and finally be used in the fields of construction and automobile glass to reduce room temperature, thereby achieve the purpose of energy consumption and environmental protection. Wherein, some experts conducted BET test on nano tungsten oxide raw material. The alcohol solvent is ethanol, the reaction temperature is 180°C, the reaction time is 24h and the molar concentration of the solution is 15mM. They did a BET test of the tungsten oxide nano particles. The BET test result is shown in the following picture, wherein, (a) is the adsorption desorption isotherm curve, (b) is the pore size distribution curve.

In Figure (a), the adsorption desorption isotherm of the tungsten oxide is type IV, and the adsorption isotherm has a sharp rise at a position where the relative pressure is high. From the figure, we can also see that there is an elongated desorption hysteresis loop between a relative pressure of 0.4-0.9, and the presence of a hysteresis loop indicates the presence of mesopores in the sample. The BET analysis results show that the porous material has a specific surface area of 103.838m2/g, a pore volume of 0.16cm3/g and a relatively uniform pore diameter of 3.413nm.
