Tungsten Oxide Nanoparticles Applied for Thermal Insulation Masterbatch

Tungsten oxide nanoparticles may be used to produce a thermal insulation masterbatch, and then be used for preparing a building thermal insulation film or a car heat insulation film. The raw material nano particle size tungsten oxide can be prepared by a solvothermal method. So, what is the formation mechanism of solvothermal preparation of tungsten oxide?

It is considered to be in accordance with the "smooth solution saturation precipitation" mechanism. In other words, in the solvothermal reaction, in the reaction type in which the solute is soluble in the solvent to form the metal salt solution as the precursor, during the progress of the reaction, as the reaction temperature increases, the pressure in the reactor increases after the vaporization of the solvent increases. Hydrolysis and polycondensation reactions occur between the solute (hydrated metal cation) in the solution and the solvent to form corresponding coordination aggregates (monomers or multimers). With the occurrence of alcoholysis and polycondensation reaction, when the reaction product accumulates to a concentration at which it reaches a supersaturated concentration, crystal nuclei are precipitated in the solution. Under certain conditions, the crystal nucleus grows to form crystal grains. The crystal grains formed by the "smooth solution saturation precipitation mechanism" are monoclinic phases.
