Chinese Rare Earth Prices - November 3, 2023

This week, the overall focus of Chinese rare earth prices has not shown significant changes, and actual transaction volumes remain relatively low. This is primarily attributed to downstream users maintaining their just-in-time procurement. Suppliers, to avoid the risk of cost inversion, generally have a lower willingness to reduce prices for sales.

According to information from China Tungsten Online, apart from a decrease in the price of terbium oxide by approximately 140 CNY/kg, a decrease of 1.70% compared to the previous week, prices of mainstream rare earth products such as praseodymium-neodymium oxide, praseodymium-neodymium metal, dysprosium oxide, and neodymium iron boron blanks have remained stable compared to the previous week.

In terms of news, in the third quarter of 2023, Guangsheng Nonferrous achieved operating income of 4.418 billion CNY, a 30.41% decrease compared to the same period last year. The net profit attributable to the parent company increased by 154.25% to 64.3286 million CNY. In the first three quarters of 2023, the company's operating income was 15.562 billion CNY, a decrease of 15.30% compared to the same period in the previous year. The net profit attributable to the parent company was 166 million CNY, a decrease of 21.65%. The net cash flow generated from operating activities was -869 million CNY.
