Neodymium Oxide Price - June 7, 2021

Rare earth market quotation in China: DyFe, terbium oxide and neodymium oxide prices edge lower on June 7, 2021 as downstream buyers delayer their purchasing plans, suppliers lack of confidence and market transactions fail to meet market expectation.

However, supported by production costs, environmentally-friendly benefits, and production or reductions in hot and rainy seasons, market prices have limited room for decline. The industry expects that the market may be cautious and wait-and-see in the short term.

According to data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, the China Commodity Index (CBMI) in May was 100.2%, a decrease of 3.1 percentage points from the previous month. The index dropped significantly after rising for three consecutive months, and fell to its lowest level in the past five months.
