China’s Zhangyuan Tungsten Declined Tungsten Forecast Prices for September

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

The ferro tungsten and tungsten powder prices in China are weak due to low trading activity in the Golden September and heavy wait-and-see atmosphere in the market. 

Meanwhile, new tungsten forecast prices for the second half of September declined slightly, which is in line with market expectations. In the short term, market participants will adjust their offers based on the guidance. 

China’s Zhangyuan Tungsten released its offers for the late September: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) was quoted at 12,352.9 per tonne, down $367.6 per tone; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) was quoted at 12,132.4 per tonne, down $367.6 per tone; APT was quoted at $213.6 per mtu, down $4.2  per mtu.  

Xiamen Tungsten’s offer for APT was $213.6 per mtu, down $0.5 per mtu.
