Neodymium Oxide Price - September 23, 2020

Rare earth market quotation in China: neodymium oxide and praseodymium neodymium metal prices continue to decline under the instability of world economy. Some of traders cut prices for more orders while other keep stable offers. The market tends to be weak. 

In the light rare earth market, the attitudes of upstream and downstream enterprises to enter the market are quite different with the approaching of Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday. Some merchants mainly purchase on-demand and reasonably control inventory, while others are enthusiastic about stocking to ensure the normal operation of enterprises after the holiday, so the current mainstream product prices are gradually reduced.

In the medium and heavy rare earth market, the spot price has not fluctuated significantly. In addition to the weak downstream demand and the lack of strength in the export market, the domestic policy has been slightly calm in recent days, which is also one of the reasons why it is difficult for the holders to raise the price. The impact of cost on profit, most producers are not willing to cut prices.
