Cesium Tungsten Bronze Prices in China Stabilize on Low Trading Activity

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China tungsten carbide powder and cesium tungsten bronze prices continue to stabilize when new guide prices from tungsten institutions and listed companies are generally in line with current market price. In the short term, the market is likely to keep stable.

China's Zhangyuan Tungsten released its offers for the first half of May: wolframite concentrate was quoted at $11,588.20/t; scheelite concentrate was quoted at $11,382.40/t; ammonium paratungstate (APT) was quoted at $199.40/mtu.

In the tungsten concentrate market, some sellers raised their offer to $11,764.7 but deals were hardly concluded at the level. Downstream users remain low trading activity under the pressure of cost and demand. For the APT market, buyers seek lower prices but manufacturers keep their offers at about $199.40/mtu. As a result, transactions are not increased.
