Chinese Molybdenum Price - Dec. 31, 2019

Chinese molybdenum price was adjusted in a narrow range in the last trading day on Dec. 31, 2019. The market inquiry and purchasing atmosphere still had a large room for improvement, and the actual transactions were limited. 

In the molybdenum concentrate market, mining companies generally have a higher price psychology, which has brought a certain positive effect to the confidence of the downstream market; in the ferromolybdenum market, the atmosphere of the transaction is normal, and some downstream steel companies have a heavier mindset of price reduction. The intermediate smelting manufacturers are not enthusiastic in actively shipping. The molybdenum chemical and its products market is slightly calm. Supported by the cost of raw materials, the supplier's offer has remained basically stable, but due to weak demand, there are not many orders.
