Molybdenum Market Prices - Dec. 20, 2018

In the Chinese market, ferromolybdenum and molybdenum concentrate prices declined slightly while molybdenum powder prices kept stable on Thursday December 20. Market confidence now is weak due to low operating rate, thin demand and capital shortage, although the supply and cost sides still offer support for the market. 

Affected by delayed tenders of steel mills and declined prices, China molybdenum market remains low trading activity, midstream and downstream traders are caught in wait-and-see mood. In the short term, molybdenum market prices will continue the current trend.
