China’s domestic tungsten price remained weak adjustment on the whole in the week ended on Friday, May 20, 2022 as market demand continued to fail market expectation. 

Rare earth market quotation in China: terbium oxide, praseodymium neodymium oxide and praseodymium neodymium metal prices declined slightly at the beginning of the week. Under the mutual influence of negative and positive factors, the atmosphere of negotiation between buyers and sellers was slightly stalemate, so the transaction was less than expected and the price of products was weak.

South America focused miner Hot Chili has made another significant batch of results from development drilling studies on its Cortadera porphyry discovery, exploring for precious metals such as copper, gold, and molybdenum. The discovery is part of its Costa Fuego copper development project in Chile and noteworthy data includes a 658-meter long copper equivalent interval, including a 130-meter interval from 232 meters deep at 0.9% copper equivalent.

Despite delays due to heavy rain, EV Resources (EVR) reports that it is on track to begin drilling at the Khartoum Tin-Silver-Tungsten Project in North Queensland. The initial 3,000-meter drill campaign is planned for the end of May at the Boulder property.
