Praseodymium Oxide Price - November 25, 2024

At the start of the week, the domestic rare earth market showed a mixed pattern with both price increases and decreases. Specifically:

The price of praseodymium oxide dropped by approximately 4,000 CNY/ton; The price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide rose by approximately 1,000 CNY/ton; The price of terbium oxide increased by around 100 CNY/kg; The price of dysprosium oxide rose by about 100 CNY/kg and 40,000 CNY/ton.

According to information from China Tungsten Online, the main reason for the rebound in dysprosium and terbium prices is that their prices had fallen sharply in a short period last week. This has prompted many suppliers to raise their prices. Additionally, geopolitical risks abroad and the depreciation of the Chinese yuan are factors that make imports of rare earth products into China more expensive. As a result, the probability of price increases for major heavy rare earth products is higher.

Industry News:

On November 14, Baotou Yingtai disclosed its intention to launch an initial public offering (IPO) and list on the ChiNext board. The issue price is set at 22.36 CNY per share, corresponding to a price-to-earnings ratio of 21.63, which is lower than the industry average PE ratio.
