A Preparation Method of Nano Tungsten Trioxide for Office Thermal Insulating Film

First, ammonium hydroxide (14 mol/L) and deionized water are used to prepare the required ammonia solution with the ratio of 1: 1.

Next, 4.9972 g (0.02 mol) of tungstic acid was dissolved in 72 ml of the prepared ammonia solution. Citric acid (16.832 g) was added to the dissolved tungstic acid solution and placed on a magnetic heating stirrer, heating in a water bath at 85 °C for 8-12 h by stirring to obtain a yellowish transparent sol.

Next, the prepared gel was dried in an infrared oven to obtain a brown swollen gel.

Finally, the gel was placed in a corundum crucible and calcined in a box furnace at 550 °C for about 2 h to obtain a yellow nano tungsten trioxide powder with a particle size between 20-40 nm and uniform particle distribution.
