China Molybdenum Products Imports and Exports for July 2025

According to CTIA GROUP LTD Online, based on data compiled from the General Administration of Customs, China’s molybdenum product imports in July 2025 totaled 6,657.68 tons, increased by 2.74% month-on-month, and increased by 53.94% year-on-year; the import value was 961 million yuan, increased by 1.67% month-on-month, and increased by 67.36% year-on-year.

Among these, in July, China imported 560.00 tons of roasted molybdenum ores and concentrates, increased by 386.96% year-on-year; 5,232.10 tons of other molybdenum ores and concentrates, increased by 37.53% year-on-year; 274.93 tons of molybdenum oxides and hydroxides, increased by 357.90% year-on-year; 246.02 tons of ammonium molybdate, increased by 1,757,178.57% year-on-year; 26.02 tons of other molybdates, increased by 154.87% year-on-year; 295.00 tons of ferromolybdenum, decreased by approximately 2.32% year-on-year; 814.00 kg of molybdenum powder, increased by 653.70% year-on-year; 15.44 tons of molybdenum bars, rods, profiles, sheets, strips, and foils, decreased by 36.23% year-on-year; 5.99 tons of molybdenum wire, decreased by 4.33% year-on-year; and 1.37 tons of other molybdenum products, decreased by 46.47% year-on-year.

China’s molybdenum product exports in July 2025 totaled 3,346.37 tons, increased by 90.79% month-on-month, and decreased by 3.39% year-on-year; the export value was 661 million yuan, increased by 56.63% month-on-month, and decreased by 15.65% year-on-year.

Among these, in July, China exported 1,056.79 tons of roasted molybdenum ores and concentrates, decreased by 22.59% year-on-year; 457.43 tons of other molybdenum ores and concentrates, decreased by 47.88% year-on-year; 87.81 tons of molybdenum oxides and hydroxides, decreased by 37.72% year-on-year; 5.90 tons of ammonium molybdate, decreased by 42.15% year-on-year; 19.78 tons of other molybdates, decreased by 39.23% year-on-year; 0.50 tons of ferromolybdenum, decreased by 99.90% year-on-year; 3.03 tons of molybdenum powder, decreased by 86.69% year-on-year; 145.53 tons of unwrought molybdenum, including simply sintered bars and rods, decreased by 13.27% year-on-year; 28.34 tons of molybdenum bars, rods, profiles, sheets, strips, and foils, decreased by 69.56% year-on-year; 27.04 tons of molybdenum wire, increased by 9.73% year-on-year; 457.43 tons of molybdenum scrap and fragments, increased by 150.45% year-on-year; and 1,056.79 tons of other molybdenum products, increased by 4,374.52% year-on-year.
