On January 5, JiangXi provincial department of land resources announced that the province found super large tungsten copper mine and  ascertained the resource amount of tungsten trioxide (WO3) is 2,860,000 tons. Tungsten mine reserves refreshed the world record (16.270,-0.01, -0.06%).

Zhu Xi tungsten copper mining area of FuLiang county is located in south east 135° of Jingdezhen city and the straight direction is 13 km. administrative region belongs to the ShouAn town of FuLiang county and YongShan Town of LePing county. It is understood that this is another world-class super large tungsten ore discovered recently after Jiangxi ascertaining super large tungsten mine of the big pond of WuNing.

According to the project phased achievements of <ZhuXi Peripheral Tungsten Copper Census of FuLiang County> passed by expert review in December 2015, show that the ore reached to the super large scale.

In addition, the project has the associated copper of 224,400 tons, 1165 tons of silver ore. And zinc, gallium and cadmium can be comprehensive utilized. At present, the main mine body has not been controlled to the border across pitch and tendency. The exploring work continues and amount of resources will be further expanded.

According to introduction, the undertaking unit of the project is brigade 912 of Jiangxi provincial bureau of geology and mineral resources, the scientific research units are the Chinese academy of geological sciences, China University of geosciences (Beijing) and Beijing University.

For the past five years, 21 drillings and 31522 meters drilling work have been completed in total. All kinds of analysis of samples contain more than 16,000.

In 2010, Jiangxi provincial departments of land resources and finance listed the project in the fund key projects of geological prospecting of jiangxi province. In 2013, on the basis of the project getting the major prospecting progress, in order to achieve rapid breakthrough of geological prospecting, the geological exploration fund management center of jiangxi province and the central geological exploration fund management center adopted the model of two-stage linkage and listed the Zhu Xi periphery of fuliang county as prospecting focal area of two levels of funds.

According to introduction, the mining area constructed three drillings more than 2000 meters. Under unfavorable factors of complex strtum structure and karst development, it created the first success of solid mineral exploration core drilling depth of jiangxi province.

The discovery of the super large tungsten copper mine has also changed the metallogenic pattern of Jiangxi province of “tungsten in south and copper in north”. The tungsten mines in South of jiangxi, northwest of Jiangxi and northeast of Jiangxi form the new situation of “tripartite confrontation ".

Relevant experts believe that Zhu Xi is the polymetallic deposit which combines the tungsten copper mine into one and focuses on skarn type. The scale of tungsten mine is big.
