There are several main types of tungsten carbide plain milling cutters:

I. Flat-end milling cutters, which are used for roughing milling to remove large amount of unwanted materials.

II. Ball milling cutters, which are used for semi-finish and finish milling of hook face.

III. Formed milling cutters, which includes chamfer cutters, T-shaped milling cutters, toothed cutters, and inner R cutter.

IV. Chamfer cutters, whose shape is like a chamfer, and has two types, with one type being used to mill round chamfers, while another being used to mill oblique chamfers.

V. T-shaped milling cutters, which can be used for T-shaped slot milling.

VI. Toothed cutters, which can be used to mill various kinds of tooth shapes, such as gears.

VII. Rough surface milling cutters, which is specially designed for rapid machining of aluminum copper alloy.

Tungsten carbide plain milling cutter, with high hardness, strong cutting force, can be applied in the machining of difficult-to-cut materials like stainless steel, titanium alloy and so on, and can greatly increase rotating speed and feeding speed, and thus improving the productivity.
