Wheel Shaped Three Dimensional Hierarchical Structure Bismuth Tungstate

The key of photocatalytic technology is the photocatalyst. Bismuth tungstate as a new type of bismuth series of new photocatalyst. It is a multicomponent compound with layered structure. The lamellar formation is formed by the common angle of the WO6 eight sides, and a layer of [Bi2O2]2+ is distributed between layers. Bi2WO6 is a typical bismuth series photocatalyst. It exhibits excellent visible light photocatalytic activity in environmental pollution control and solar energy conversion. Bi2WO6 has high catalytic activity under visible light irradiation, which can cleavage aquatic O2 and degrade organic matter.
The common bismuth tungstate has six kinds of crystalline form. As for which crystal form is more suitable for photocatalysis, it is still undecided. In a word, the use method varies from person to person and conditions according to local conditions. This paper mainly introduces a method of preparing bismuth tungstate photocatalyst with three dimensional hierarchical structure of wheel like structure. This method is simple, low cost, and synthetic. Bismuth tungstate photocatalyst has high photocatalytic performance and is beneficial to recycling. The specific preparation process is as follows:
(1) 1mmol bismuth salt was dissolved in 1 ~ 10mL solution of 2M dilute acid water and formed a transparent solution A. The measurement ratio of tungsten salt was dissolved in the 20mL deionized water, and it was slowly added to A solution and stirred 0.5 to 1H, and the formed solution was recorded as B solution.
(2) A certain amount of sulphate was dissolved in 10mL deionized water and slowly added to B solution to continue stirring for 0.5 ~ 1h, and then transferred into the stainless steel high pressure reactor with 50mL containing polytetrafluoroethylene for 10 ~ 30h at 150~200°C. The product was centrifuged and washed, and the wheel shaped three-dimensional classification structural bismuth tungstate photocatalyst was obtained at 50~100°C.
The phase of the three dimensional structure of the wheel like structure was tested and the Luo Danming B solution was degraded under the visible light irradiated by the 300W xenon lamp. The photocatalyst was completely degraded to the colorless RhB in 70 minutes, which indicated that the bismuth tungstate with the wheel like structure of the wheel has high visible photocatalytic properties.
