At present, the main method for the determination of tungsten content of acid soluble ammonium tungstate gravimetric method, alkali fusion Colorimetry (including differential colorimetry) and ignition gravimetric method, the two methods are mainly used in tungsten ore content analysis, the latter method is mainly used for the determination of tungsten content of pure tungsten products. But the determination of the three methods can not be applied to tungsten impurity content of tungsten products.

Some scholars have put forward a method for the determination of tungsten products such as tungsten products, mixture, dopant, dirty material, grinding material, gutter, ammonia and so on. The weight method has high detection accuracy and relative error less than 2%. Because of organic precipitation, the analysis speed is fast, and the interference of impurities is maximally eliminated. The range of analysis is wide.
