In July 2025, China's tungsten products export business continued to recover. Exports of tungsten trioxides, tungsten hexafluoride, tungstates, carbides of tungsten, and tungsten powders showed month-on-month increases, while exports of unwrought tungsten, tungsten wire, and cemented carbide tools experienced month-on-month decreases.

According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, in July 2025, China's imports of tungsten products (excluding cemented carbide tools and tungsten halogen lamps) reached 2,418.96 tons, a year-on-year increase of 76.83% compared to July 2024, and a month-on-month increase of 2.75% compared to June 2025. The import value amounted to RMB 321 million, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 70.23% and a month-on-month increase of 18.44%.

According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, from January to July 2025, China's imports of tungsten products (excluding cemented carbide tools and tungsten halogen lamps) reached 11,100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 26.75% compared to the same period in 2024. The import value was RMB 1.391 billion, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 43.62%.

According to data compiled by CTIA GROUP LTD from the General Administration of Customs, the import and export details of China's molybdenum products for the first half of 2025 are as follows: In the first half of 2025, China’s cumulative molybdenum product imports totaled 41,101.50 tons, an increase of 22.19% year-on-year; the cumulative import value was 5.986 billion yuan, an increase of 30.16% year-on-year.
