China Rare Earth Products Price Trends for August 2025

According to CTIA GROUP LTD Online, the price trends of mainstream light and heavy rare earth products in China for August 2025 showed slight variations.

In the first half of the month, influenced by weak downstream demand and strong reluctance among suppliers to sell due to bullish expectations, praseodymium-neodymium prices fluctuated within a narrow range. In contrast, dysprosium-terbium series products experienced a downward oscillatory trend, primarily due to limited purchasing power from buyers facing tight funding and insufficient confidence among holders to maintain prices. In the latter half of the month, with the approach of the traditional "Golden September and Silver October" consumption peak season, magnetic material companies showed increased enthusiasm for inquiries and procurement. Simultaneously, continuous positive industry news and strong market speculation jointly drove a significant rise in praseodymium-neodymium prices. Under this ripple effect, the prices of neodymium-iron-boron blanks and dysprosium-terbium products also rose accordingly.
