Wolframite Gravity Separation Equipment - Moving Sieve Jig

The main processing method of wolframite is called gravity separation method which is divided into roughing filtering - gravity filtering - featured filtering three stages. The jigging operation is one of the important flows of gravity separation, the recovery of tungsten concentrate jigging generally accounts for more than 50% of the total gravity separation processing.

Given the importance of this processing, it is essential to choose the jigging machine. There are diaphragm jig, hydraulic agitation jig, free piston jig and movable sieve jig four types, of which the moving sieve jig is most widely used.

Movable sieve jig is directly driven by the external plate’s movements of up and down in the water medium, resulting in material jigging machine loose and achieving the density stratification.

Movable sieve jig is mainly composed of three parts, the host, hydraulic system and electric control system. The host is mainly composed of the host body, moving screen, lifting wheel device, product chute, tailings discharge device and other components. The hydraulic system is mainly used to complete the motion of the moving screen and the operation of the tailings discharge devices. The electric control system comprises main control equipment (power control) and automatic tailings discharge two monitoring and controlling two parts.

Moving sieve jig can not only be used in roughing filtering of tungsten mines, but it can also be used in early roughing filtering, as moving sieve jig's largest feed particle size is 6 ~ 8 mm. When moving sieve jig is working and this is a certain height of water in the tub, pushed by the driving of the hydraulic oil cylinder, the moving sieve mechanism moves around the pin for upper and lower reciprocating motion in the water. When ore grains go into the movable sieve agency, a certain thickness of bed layer is formed on the sieve plate. As the sieve plate rises, the water moves down relative to the particle. The early harvest of Jigging and the drop-tail of shaking table tail are the cores of the gravity separation process. Recovered tungsten concentrates in the jigging operation capture half of all re-election concentrates. Because the moving sieve jig is simple, easy maintenance, and has large throughput and low failure rate, it is always entrusted with task by the majority of domestic wolframite mountains.
