Blue tungsten oxide as an important raw material for the producing tungsten powder, its performance has been more attention. By scanning electron microscopy to observe the surface morphology of blue tungsten oxide powder, it found blue tungsten oxide polymerization by lots of particle and there are many irregular cracks on the powder. Using HRTEM observed that many gaps between the grains of blue tungsten oxide, so blue tungsten oxide particles are porous. These cracks and voids in favor of accelerating the reaction rare of blue tungsten oxide hydrogen reaction and excluding water. Blue tungsten powder was found by TEM which it has cubic crystal blue tungsten oxide, as well as needles purple tungsten oxide grain. We can see in the blue tungsten powder not only including blue tungsten oxide particle as well as some component of violet tungsten oxide, and this phenomenon is present in most blue tungsten. This shows that in the producing technology of blue tungsten oxide need more improve.
