WO3 electrochromic film can be prepared by an ion exchange method combined with a sol-impregnation method of sol. For example, some experts adopt ion exchange method to obtain a tungstic acid solution from sodium tungstate, then add a certain amount of ammonia water and hydrogen peroxide to stabilize the coating solution. And then, the film was formed on the ITO glass substrate by the immersion pulling method of the sol, baked at 150 °C for 30 min, and then repeatedly coated, and finally heat-treated at 350-500 °C for 2 h to obtain a WO3 film. Studies have shown that the coating solution can be stabilized and the time to form a gel can be prolonged by adding a certain amount of ammonia and hydrogen peroxide.
