China Rare Earth Price - October 27, 2023

This week, China rare earth price has shown a slight overall decline, primarily attributed to limited support from favorable factors, weak downstream demand, and an abundance of spot market supply. Currently, the prices are approximately 513,000 yuan per ton for PrNd oxide, 590,000 yuan per ton for Ho oxide, and 8,240 yuan per kilogram for Tb oxide.

According to data compiled by Zhongwu Online, the prices have decreased compared to the previous week. PrNd oxide prices dropped by about 12,000 yuan per ton, a decrease of 2.29%, PrNd metal prices decreased by about 18,000 yuan per ton, a decrease of 2.78%, Tb oxide prices fell by approximately 120 yuan per kilogram, a decrease of 1.44%, Dy oxide prices decreased by about 10,000 yuan per ton, a decrease of 0.37%, while the prices for 55N NdFeB preforms remained stable. The price of NdFeB preforms (PrNd) dropped by about 5 yuan per kilogram, a decrease of 0.91% compared to the previous week.

It is evident that rare earth raw material prices declined this week, and the rate of decrease has slightly increased compared to the previous week, while NdFeB preform prices remain relatively stable. In the short term, industry experts anticipate that the rare earth market may continue to maintain a narrow fluctuation pattern.
