China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association Raised Average Tungsten Forecast Prices for September 2023

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

The tungsten prices in the Chinese market remain stable in early September 2023 with listed tungsten enterprises and Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) releasing their guide prices for September 2023. 

China’s GTA released its average tungsten forecast prices for September 2023: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $16,928.6/ton, up $214.3/ton; APT price was $291.4/mtu, up $4.8/mtu; medium particle tungsten powder price was $39.4/kg, up $0.3/kg compared with August 2023. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten released its long-term contract prices for the first half of September 2023: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $16,928.6/ton, down $142.9/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $16,714.3/ton, down $142.9/ton; APT price was $291.4/mtu, up $4.8/mtu, down $0.8/mtu compared with the second half of August 2023.

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted high grade black tungsten concentrate at $17,285.7/ton, unchanged with the second half of August 2023.

Xiamen Tungsten quoted APT bid price for the first half of this month at $289.7/mtu, up $0.8/mtu compared with the second half of August 2023.
