China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) Declined Average Tungsten Forecast Prices for August 2023

China tungsten price remained stable on the whole on August 9, 2023 affected by the decline in new average tungsten forecast prices for August from Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) but the rise in long-term contract prices from listed tungsten enterprisers.

China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) released its average tungsten forecast prices for August 2023: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $17,205.9/ton, unchanged with July 2023; APT price was $294.9/mtu, down $1.7/mtu; medium particle tungsten powder price was $40.3/kg, down $0.3/kg compared with July 2023. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten released its long-term contract prices for the first half of August 2023: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,205.9/ton, up $147.1/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $16,985.3/ton, up $147.1/ton; APT price was $294.9/mtu, up $1.7/mtu compared with the second half of July 2023. 

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted high-grade black tungsten concentrate at $17,500.0/ton, up $73.5/ton compared with the second half of July 2023.

Xiamen Tungsten quoted APT bid price at $292.5/mtu, down $0.8/mtu compared with the second half of July 2023.
