China tungsten price continued to remain stable at the beginning of August 2023 when the market mentality improved slightly as time went by. However, the positive information on the actual fundamentals is still limited, and there are still many differences in the trading in the market.

The price of tungsten concentrate remained at around $17,500.00/ton but the demand momentum for upward breakthrough was insufficient, and the willingness for lowering prices was low. The circulation of market resources remained at the level of rigid demand, and businesses still expect a price increase. 

The price of APT maintained at around $295.8/mtu and showed signs of rise with the impact of strong rised mentality of raw material suppliers. However, due to the downstream bargaining sentiment, the overall trading activity was low. 

The price of tungsten powder remains at about $39.7/kg. Recently, the support on the cost side has increased, the atmosphere on the alloy side is still tepid, and the market continues to be deadlocked. Most trader wait and see the stocking plans of downstream.
