The overall Chinese rare earth market has improved slightly on May 10, 2023, mainly reflected in the tentative rise in the prices of many rare earth raw materials.
The prices of praseodymium neodymium oxide, praseodymium neodymium metal and dysprosium oxide rose slightly to 462,000 yuan/ton, 560,000 yuan/ton and 1,920,000 yuan/ton respectively. However, due to the slow follow-up of downstream demand, the prices of individual products are still in a state of decline, and the industry's confidence in the continued improvement of the market outlook is slightly insufficient.
According to Chinatungsten Online, although the overall performance of the rare earth market has been poor recently, in the long run, the rapid development of industries such as new energy vehicles, wind power installations, energy-saving motors, energy-saving elevators, and smart homes will increase to a large extent. The demand for rare earth products is conducive to the good development of the rare earth industry.
News: According to customs data, in April 2023, my country exported 4,574 tons of rare earth commodities, a month-on-month increase of 2.9%, and the export value reached 570 million yuan, a month-on-month decrease of 6.6%; 1.54 billion yuan, an increase of 11.6% from the previous month.
