Zhangyuan Tungsten Declined its Long-term Contract Prices for the Late February 2023

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

At the beginning of the week, China tungsten price continues its stalemate when market participants are waiting for the next move in the market. Meanwhile, the limited decline in new guide prices from listed tungsten companies also supports market confidence to some extent.

Zhangyuan Tungsten released its long-term contract prices for the second half of February: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $18,153.8/ton, down $153.8/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,923.1/ton, down $153.8/ton; ammonium paratungstate (APT) price was $312.9/mtu, down $3.5/mtu compared with the first half of this month.

The tungsten concentrate, APT and tungsten powder markets are all keeping quiet with stable market prices. In the short term, traders will take a watchful stance and stabilize their offers first.
