China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association Raised its Average Tungsten Forecast Prices for February 2023

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China tungsten price continues to keep strong on Feb. 7, 2023 affected by the increase in new round of average tungsten forecast prices as well as long-term contract prices from association and large enterprises. 

Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) released its average tungsten forecast prices for February 2023: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $18,307.7/t; up $769.2/ton; APT price was $316.4/mtu, up $11.3/mtu; medium particle tungsten powder price was $43.1/kg, up $0.8/kg compared with January 2023. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten’s long-term contract prices for the first half of February: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $615.4/ton, up $615.4/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $18,076.9/ton, up $615.4/ton; APT price was $316.4/mtu, up $9.6/mtu from January 2023. 

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted high grade black tungsten concentrate price at $18,692.3/ton, up $461.5/ton compared with the first half of January 2023. 

Xiamen Tungsten’s APT bid price for the first half of February was $314.6/mtu, up $8.7/mtu form the January 2023.
