China’s Zhangyuan Tungsten Raised Long-term Contract Prices for the Second half of March

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China’s ammonium paratungstate (APT) and tungsten carbide powder prices are in the upward trend on March 22, 2022 with the increase in new guide prices for the second half of this month, which shored up market confidence to some extent. 

China’s Zhangyuan Tungsten released its long-term contract prices for the second half of this month: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $18,790.3/ton, an increase of $241.9/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $18,548.4/ton, an increase of $241.9/ton; APT price was $329.0/mtu, an increase of $4.6/mtu compared with the first half of March. 

Xiamen Tungsten quoted APT bid price at $327.1/mtu, up $4.6/mtu from the first half of this month. 

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted high grade black tungsten concentrate at $19,274.2/ton, up $322.6/ton from the first half of this month.
