Dysprosium Oxide Price - March 10, 2022

The overall situation of China’s domestic rare earth market is weak. DyFe, dysprosium oxide and praseodymium neodymium metal prices edge lower on March 10, 2022.

Under the influence of many uncertain factors, the upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain have a stronger wait-and-see mood when entering the market, which in turn leads to a weak buying and selling atmosphere in the market. The prices of praseodymium, neodymium, dysprosium and terbium products are weak in rising. And the market outlook is unclear.

From the perspective of the supply side, affected by factors such as stricter environmental protection policies, the epidemic situation in some areas is still fermenting, and the weather is unstable, the production capacity release of rare earth smelting and separation enterprises is limited. It is difficult to increase; from the perspective of demand, in addition to the strong fear of heights among downstream users, which is the reason for the scarcity of orders, the war between Russia and Ukraine has seriously affected the auto industry, such as Hyundai, Kia and Ford’s production shrinkage, to a large extent It will reduce the market demand for rare earth permanent magnet materials.

In terms of news: From January to February 2022, China exported a total of 7,835 tons of rare earths, an increase of 10.9% from 7,068 tons last year; in terms of export value, China exported a total of 810 million rare earths, an increase of 58.1% from 510 million yuan last year.
