China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) Declined Average Tungsten Forecast Prices for March

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China tungsten price continues to remain weak at the beginning of the week as participants mainly take a watchful stance to avoid risks due to the uncertainties under conflict between Russia and Ukraine. In addition, the new guide prices for early March also declined slightly. 

China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA)’s average tungsten forecast prices for March: 55% black tungsten concentrate was $18,548.4/ton, unchanged from last month; ammonium paratungstate (APT) was $327.4/mtu, an decline of $0.9/mtu; medium particle tungsten powder was $44.8/kg, an increase of $0.5/kg compared with February. 

Xiamen Tungsten quoted APT bid price at $322.6/mtu, down $5.5/mtu compared with the second half of February. 

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted high grade black tungsten concentrate at $18,951.6/ton, down $241.9/ton from last month.
