Molybdenum Oxide Price - September 13, 2021

At the beginning of the week, China’s domestic molybdenum market continued its weakness as last week. As the steel recruitment market became less hot than expected and the double-festival atmosphere became stronger, traders had big differences in their views on the market outlook. 

Some participants worry and panic were heavier, which led to some prices of molybdenum products has fallen; while some have more bullish sentiment, prompting suppliers to lower their willingness to sharply cut prices. Currently, the price of molybdenum concentrate is about RMB 2,450/mtu, the price of ferromolybdenum is approximately RMB 163,000/ton, and the price of molybdenum oxide is approximately RMB 2,550/mtu.
