Rare earth market quotation in China: DyFe, terbium oxide and praseodymium neodymium metal prices decline on April 1, 2021 under the slow recovery of global manufacturing industry. Although downstream magnetic companies have great demand for raw materials, considering the high price, they delayed their purchasing plans, leading to limited new increased orders.
In March, China's Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) was 51.9%, an increase of 1.3 percentage points from the previous month, and the manufacturing industry rebounded. In terms of enterprise scale, the PMI of large, medium and small enterprises was 52.7%, 51.6% and 50.4% respectively, up 0.5, 2.0 and 2.1 percentage points from the previous month.
In terms of sub-indices, the production index was 53.9%, an increase of 2.0% from the previous month; the new order index was 53.6%, an increase of 2.1% from the previous month; the raw material inventory index was 48.4%, an increase of 0.7% from the previous month; the employee index was 50.1%, The month-on-month increase was 2.0 percentage points; the supplier delivery time index was 50.0%, an increase of 2.1 percentage points from the previous month.
