China Rare Earth Price - January 25, 2021

China rare earth price did not fluctuate significantly at the beginning of the week, affected by the rapid development of manufacturing industries such as new energy vehicles, wind power generation and inverter air conditioners. The demand for downstream magnetic materials companies remained strong.

Under the pressure of environmental protection policies and the continued spread of the epidemic, suppliers still have a heavier mentality to hold their goods until they rise, and most businesses currently expect that market prices may continue to rise in the future.

In 2020, the output of rare earth magnetic materials in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was 4886.3 tons, an increase of 15.4% year-on-year; China's rare earth industry prosperity index was officially released in the fourth quarter of 2020, with a total index score of 109.26 points, which is in the "prosperity" range.
