China Terbium Oxide Price - December 23, 2020

Rare earth market quotation in China: terbium oxide and praseodymium neodymium oxide prices are still in the upward trend while terbium oxide price remains stable on December 23, 2020 as consumers restock raw materials at the end of the year.

From the perspective of supply, firstly, as The New Year approaches, environmental protection crackdowns have also increased, which has led to some smelting companies’ production cuts and shutdowns, so the current supply of spot resources is tight; secondly,  under the background of the continuous spread of the global epidemic, international logistics and transportation are still slightly slow, which is not conducive to the heating up of the import market to a certain extent, so the import volume of light and heavy rare earths is small.

This week, the listed price of Southern Rare Earth was changed to a floating price. Among them, the samarium oxide price is 12,000 to 12,500 yuan/ton; the europium oxide price is 3,000 to 302,000 yuan/ton; the gadolinium oxide price is 176 to 178,000 yuan/ton; the terbium oxide price is 6.3 to 6.4 million yuan/ton; the dysprosium oxide price is 1.95 to 1.98 million yuan/ton; the holmium oxide price is 595,000 to 600,000 yuan/ton; the terbium oxide price is 170,000 to 175,000 yuan/ton; the ytterbium oxide price is 100,000 to 102,000 yuan/ton; lutetium oxide price is 4.9~5 million yuan/ton; the yttrium oxide price is 21 to 23,000 yuan/ton; the scandium oxide price is 9-9.05 million yuan/ton.
