517.46 Tons of WO3 Available in Guanzaixian Tungsten Mine

There are 517.46 tons of WO3 for mining in Guanzaixian Tungsten Mine. According to the announcement by the Department of Natural Resources of Jiangxi Province, as of August 31, 2020, the evaluation base date, the estimated value of the proceeds from the transfer of the mining right of the Chongyi Changlong Guanzaixian Tungsten Mine was 2.0898 million yuan (higher than the 2.0603 million yuan calculated from the market benchmark price), and the recoverable WO3 is 517.46 tons by estimate.

Diversifying the tungsten supply chain image

Guanzaixian Tungsten Mine is located in Shenbu Village, Changlong Town, Chongyi County. The mine area assessed by the mining license is 0.1344 square kilometers, the mining elevation ranges from +400 to +50 meters, and is delineated by 4 inflection points. The main mineral combination is wolframite-sulfide-quartz. The mining license has expired (June 24, 2019) and is currently being renewed.

As of the end of December 2017, the reserve verification base date, there are 32.02 kilotons of (122b+333) ore in the mining area, 399 tons of tungsten trioxide, 75 tons of Cu, and 265 tons of Zn. Among them, the amount of 122b ores is 25.53 kilotons, the amount of metal is 326 tons of WO3, the amount of Cu is 64 tons, and the amount of Zn is 215 tons. The amount of 333 ores is 6.49 kilotons, and the amount of metal is 73 tons of tungsten trioxide, 11 tons of Cu, and 50 tons of Zn.

The estimated utilization of resource reserves is the retained resource reserves as of September 30, 2006. The (122b+333) ore volume is 55,900 tons, WO3 metal volume is 612 tons with an average grade of 1.09%. Cu metal volume is 284 tons with an average grade of 0.51 %. The amount of Zn metal is 1143 tons, and the average grade of Zn is 2.04%. Among them, 122b ore is 49,400 tons, tungsten trioxide is 539 tons, the average grade is 1.09%. Cu metal is 273 tons, the average grade is 0.55%. Zn metal is 1093 tons, the average grade is 2.21%. And 333 ore is 10,000 tons.

The estimated utilization of resource reserves (after adjustment) is 53,300 tons of ore, 582.8 tons of WO3 with an average grade of 1.09%, 279.6 tons of Cu metal, 0.52% average Cu grade, 1123 tons of Zn metal, the average grade is 2.11%.

The mining recovery rate is 90%, and the dilution rate is 81%. The beneficiation recovery rate is 80% for tungsten, 80% for copper, and 80% for zinc. The design loss is 7,000 tons of ore, 7.84 tons of tungsten trioxide, 1.19 tons of Cu, and 5.39 tons of Zn metal.

The estimated recoverable reserves of Guanzaixian Tungsten Mine are 47,300 tons of ore, 517.46 tons of WO3, with 1.09% average grade; 250.57 tons of Cu metal and 0.53% average Cu grade; 1005.85 tons of Zn metal and 2.13% average Zn grade.
