Molybdenum Powder Price - November 19, 2020

The ferro molybdenum, ammonium molybdate and molybdenum powder prices in China are unchanged from the previous trading day. As downstream users remain cautious in consuming, the whole market trading is low. 

Although the steel tender is not active and the export market is difficult to recover, under the influence of limited raw material inventory and relatively optimistic steel bidding prices, holders keep stable sentiment and are not willing to sell at lower price. 

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, China’s steel production output in October was 23.781 million tons, an increase of 6.50% from October last year; the cumulative output from January to October was 21.04 million tons, an increase of 4.70% year-on-year.
