China Tungsten Price Was in the Downward Trend in Early November

China tungsten price was in the downward trend in the week ended on Friday November 6, 2020 as the market has been in an uncertain status recently. In addition, the new guide prices for the market edged lower, showing a negative sign for market participants. 

China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association(GTA) released its average tungsten forecast prices for November: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $12,430.8 per tone, down $338.5 per tone from October; APT price was $21.6 per mtu, down $6.1 per mtu; medium tungsten powder price was $30.2 per kilogram, down $0.9 per kilogram. 

In the tungsten concentrate market, sellers keep firm offers at about $12,615.4 per tone and are reluctant to sell at low prices, plus with the influence of low demand of downstream, no deals were reported. The new offers from listed companies for APT declined below $217.3 per mtu, weakening market confidence. APT manufacturers were in a dilemma. The tungsten powder market is affected by the worsen Covid-19 in overseas markets and price also declines slightly. Some traders sell at low prices for more transactions.
