Ferro Tungsten Price Continues to Stabilize in Early September

The tungsten powder and ferro tungsten prices in the Chinese market continue to stabilize in the first trading day in September due to good expectation of insiders for the market in Golden September and Silver October. 

In the tungsten concentrate market, suppliers still have strong rised mentality. Resources less than $12,500.00 per tonne are difficult to be purchased but transactions remain limited at the level of $12.941.2 per tonne. The ammonium metatungstate (APT) market is supported by increased export in July. High production costs also make factories face greater pressure of price inversion. Given that, APT price rises slightly to about $216 per mtu. Tungsten powder price is tentatively approaching to the point of $29.4 per kilogram, but affected by the stability in the epidemic and economy, traders are cautious about taking goods, with heavy wait-and-see mood.
