China DyFe Price - August 24, 2020

Rare earth market quotation in China: the DyFe price declines slightly while praseodymium neodymium metal price rises early in this week. As the prices of mainstream products continue to rise, downstream users' fear of high prices has also increased, resulting in a weakening of the bullish confidence of holders, a slight increase in the awareness of active shipments, and rational quotations.

In the light rare earth market, the fundamentals are good. Affected by the insufficient supply of some products and low activity of downstream inquiries, many suppliers still have a strong psychology of reluctance to sell; in the medium and heavy rare earth market, the prices of a few products have fallen. In the early stage, supported by various favorable factors such as the small inflow of overseas raw materials and the limited release of domestic production capacity, traders' quotations have been raised all the way. However, due to the insufficient consumption capacity of rare earth separation plants, the spot prices have recently adjusted slightly.
