Molybdenum market quotation in China: the prices of molybdenum concentrate, molybdenum oxide and molybdenum powder prices are in the downward trend owing to weak buying appetite and low trading activity. 

On the one hand, the low-price imported raw materials have a greater impact on the domestic market. The stock of molybdenum concentrate is slightly sufficient, which makes it difficult for holders to increase their quotations. However, due to the recent high temperature, heavy rain and low operating rate of molybdenum mining enterprises, the imbalance between supply and demand is easing. On the other hand, a new round of steel tender has not yet started, which has caused difficulties in boosting market. Molybdenum chemical companies face great sale pressure and actual transactions are thin.
